The attacker has netted 5 finishes in ten domestic competition appearances during the current campaign.

The Madrid giants forward Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to the fanbase for his response when replaced in Sunday's intense El Clasico victory.

The Brazilian was replaced in the second half and showed his frustration by walking immediately to the dressing room.

He later returned to the bench and, after his club's narrow triumph, tried to confront Barcelona's youngster Yamal during unsavoury post-match scenes.

"This day I want to apologise to all the supporters for my reaction when I was substituted in the Clasico," Vinicius wrote on social media.

"In the same way as I have said in person during this morning's training, I would like to say sorry once more to my teammates, the organization, and the president.

"At times emotion takes over me because I constantly desire to triumph and support my side. My winning mentality originates in the love I hold for this team and everything it represents."

Vinicius joined Real from his former club in recent years for £38.7m and has scored over a century of strikes in numerous matches.

But his career in the Madrid is far from certain with rumors in lately stating that the club would think about letting the young star move on if they got a appropriate bid.

When Vinicius was replaced on Sunday, broadcast footage from broadcaster the platform picked him up stating: "It's always me! I'm exiting the club! It's better if I leave, I'm moving on."

In his new post on social media, the athlete commented: "I commit to keep battling every second for the good of Los Blancos, as I have performed since the first day."
